Let Freedom Read Community Read-Out

Safety Harbor Public Library will celebrate Banned Books Week with a Community Read-Out on Thursday, October 5 at 6:30 pm. Banned Books Week (October 1 – 7) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read, focusing on removing barriers restricting access to books. Community members are invited to read a short passage from their favorite challenged book and share why or how they are connected to the title.
