Safety Harbor Public Library Turns 85!

Celebrate National Library Week and the Safety Harbor Public Library’s 85th birthday on Wednesday, April 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Drop in to wish the library happy birthday with cake, a card, raffle prizes, and a display of the library’s history. Winners from the library’s Poetry Month Contest will also be announced. The Safety Harbor Public Library’s history began in 1938 with enterprising individuals of the Women’s Civic Club. Over the years, the library was in three different locations, growing with each move and continues to grow. We look forward to a second story addition later this year.
