In Buddha’s teachings, love is known as the great protector, protecting us from negative minds such as hatred, anger, jealousy, attachment and pride. Practicing silence is more than not speaking. Silence helps us develop an inner quality of stillness. In this Valentine’s Day silent retreat, we will engage in contemplations on loving-kindness, bringing peace to both ourselves and others. Everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own vegetarian bagged lunch to enjoy onsite during the lunch break.
